Parkview Cafe

We have been trying to secure a lease from the building owners, the Minnnesota Indepentdent Order of Oddfellows, for quite some time.  In the end, we agreed with all the terms they offered us except for one:  the clause that terminates our lease if the owners sell the building.  Try as we might, we could not get them to remove that clause.  Call us old fashioned, but we feel that if we sign a long-term lease that it should be long-term.

Therefore, it is with great regret that we close this venerable institution of over fifty years of which we have had the great pleasure of operating for the last seven.  We can't thank you enough for your patronage and loyalty.  We appreciate having has the honor of calling you customer and friend during our tenure.  We will miss you!
